ORDERING

How do I get started on a wedding order?

To get started on a wedding order, first purchase a sample! Because of our unique method of printing, it's important for you to feel your future invitations before placing a full order. When you're ready to place your full wedding order, you'll first place a deposit and send us the wording for your pieces. We'll send over a digital proof - once all the wording has been finalized, you'll pay the remainder of the balance. What payment methods do you accept?

We directly accept payments from all major US credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. If you'd prefer to pay with Paypal, please contact us and we'll send you an invoice for your purchase.

When should I order my wedding invitations?

Since we do everything in-house, our wedding turnaround time is pretty fast. However, since our turnaround time doesn't begin until after final proof approval, we recommend getting started with your order 4-6 weeks before you need to send them out. If you need a rush order, we'd be happy to try to fit you into our schedule - just send us a message to find out if we have time available.

When should I order my save the dates?

Most engaged couples send out save the dates 6-8 months before their wedding. As with the wedding invitations, turnaround time doesn't begin until you've approved the proof. Our turnaround time for save the dates is shorter than wedding invitations - see all of our current turnaround times here.

Can I cancel my order?

All wedding deposits are non-refundable. You may cancel your order at any time before you've paid the remainder of your balance, but you won't receive your deposit back. Once you've finalized your wording and paid the remainder of your balance, no refunds are available and orders may not be cancelled. 

PROOF MAKING PROCESS

What is the proof making process like?

When you place your deposit, you'll send over the wording for all pieces you're ordering. We'll send you a digital proof within 1-2 working days (M-F) so you can see how everything will look. From there, you can make any changes you need to and we'll update the digital proof accordingly until everything looks perfect. The first three proofs are included in the wedding invitation price - additional proofs are $30 each.

Do you proofread my wording?

While we'll be happy to point out any mistakes we happen to notice, the ultimate responsibility for proofreading is yours. Take extra care to make sure everything is spelled correctly - enlisting the help of others can be a big help! Once you've approved the final proof, nothing can be changed.

SHIPPING

How do you ship?

We ship all domestic (U.S.) orders via USPS Priority Mail, which has a transit time of 1-3 business days. We're also happy to ship to every country in the world via USPS First Class Mail. GENERAL

Are envelopes included in my order? Can I get extra? What about liners?

We include envelopes, printed with your address, with all invitations, RSVP cards, save the dates, and thank you cards. We'll always include 10% extra envelopes with invitations and thank you cards, in case you need to correct an address. We don't currently offer envelope liners, but it's something we're thinking about for next year! 

Can I customize paper and ink?

We're happy to offer a wide variety of envelope and ink colors! Check out this page to see what we have available. As for paper - we only print on cotton paper, in either bright white or pearl white.

What's included in a sample? Can I customize my sample?

All of our samples include an invitation, response card, and printed envelope. We can't custom print samples because of the time-intensive nature of letterpress printing.

Can you print my digital design?

We only print our own designs, and customized versions of them. If you'd like to get a digital file letterpress printed, we recommend searching your local listings for a job printer who specializes in photopolymer plates.

Can I add an image to your design?

Generally, we don't add images to our designs since we've designed them the way we have for a reason. However, if we can work an image in, we'll be happy to try - just contact us before placing an order to let us know what you have in mind.

Can you print an invitation in another language or with special characters?

We letterpress print the traditional way - with metal type and human-powered presses. Most metal typefaces that are sold in the US don't come standard with non-English special characters - that means no accents, umlauts, etc. Unfortunately, we aren't able to print your invitations in French / Spanish / German unless otherwise noted on the listing page.
