Today I finished a short run of memo cards as a (SHHH!) Father's Day gift for my dad. It was a simple two-color job using hand-set metal type; Baskerville Italic at the top, and the elegant Massey initials at the bottom. The final product has a nice clean, classic feel.
For my money, nothing beats a classic black and red printing. If it was good enough for Gutenberg, it's good enough for me.
