Well, our year didn't
get off to the start we planned - all two employees of Seaborn Press came down with the flu for a week or two right after January began. Our grand visions of printing wedding design after wedding design didn't exactly materialize...the second half of the month was spent catching up from the first half. It's okay, though! If there's one thing we've learned, it's that if you work for yourself, you need to be flexible.
So! We're starting the new year off in February - just a month late, and it'll coincide with the Lunar New Year, so it all works out just fine! In the spirit of new beginnings, we thought you might like to see another of our new wedding suites. It's called Transatlantic and it's focused on super modern typography - we printed it in blue on bright white paper to give it a bit of a nautical feel.
Our stationery line, designed in a similar style, is one of our more popular lines - so we think this wedding suite might be a big hit! It's one of our favorites, if for no other reason than the fake couple is getting married at Timberline - a place we've wanted to visit for a long time.
As for our "new" year plans - we're going to continue the one-year-old tradition of hiking at Powell Butte on Super Bowl Sunday (
). We might also stop by the garden for the first time in two months. We're kind of scared of what we might find, since we planted a bunch of winter veggies and then let them go wild. Maybe we'll have some nice greens just waiting for us to eat! Or maybe it'll just be a soggy mess.
